So earlier this evening this happened:

I had my headphones on and my roommate babled something. I didn’t hear so I ask ‘What did you say?’

Roomie replies: ’I said there was a dog barking outside’. So of course I say ’You said there was a dog?’

And the reply I get to that? ‘Yes Beth, I said there was a dog’

I am so deep into TWD and Beth hell that my roommate, who hasn’t watched the show at all, know where the random ‘but you said there was a dog’ line comes from.
