I love the dated feel of the technology in the games. There’s something quite charming about everything looking like it belongs in the world of fourteen years ago.

I mean, who could forget the phone in the Wright & Co. Law Offices?

Or Phoenix’s brick of a computer?

…Or, well, all of the computers in the Criminal Affairs Department?

Not to mention the VHS tapes used by the security cameras.

Even Dual Destinies continues this trend, going so far as to use a tape recorder in the year 2027.

A round of applause for the developers, for relentlessly sticking with this 2001-esque technology.

As someone who work in a lawyers office let me say that this is kind of weirdly accurate even for 2015…

Lawyers still use old ass phones (our phone system is archaic), everything is done by fax and VHS and diskette are still oddly common ….
